My advice is to stick at it!!

some of the comps that you have entered will have not finished yet so you will still have a chance of winning them

if you would like to increase your chances of winning then my advise to you would be to enter the competitions where there are not as many entrants so you have a better chance of winning

try entering tie-breaker and slogan comps and competitions where you have to put a lot of effort in to winning a competition these can be found by searching for "tiebreaker" "slogan" and "effort" on MSE as these are often "low entry" competitions you have a greater chance of winning as your entries will now be based on skill and not luck

if you find that the above is not for you and you only have a limited time each day to do the comps try to enter the prize draws - comps where there are more prizes per competition so you have a greater chance of winning (the prizes may only be small but at least you will win)

if you have a local newspaper and they run competitions do try to do these as they are often low entry comps with some very good prizes

as for the fabled "blacklist" that is shared by all of the promoters and site owners who run the competitions it is my believe that it doesn't really exist and that it is just an "urban myth"

however be aware that if you consistently break the rules by cheating, and doing fake multiple entries (i.e. entering for your cat,dog,goldfish and none existent family members the site owners may blacklist you from there site and they may share this information with other sites

but worst of all and this is what you should fear and dread the most is that the great comping fairy will take out her bad luck wand and sprinkle you with bad luck dust and you will then be doomed and never ever win a competition again! :rotfl:

while I do not really believe in the comping fairy I do believe in "Comping Karma" i'e what goes around comes around and that the more that you help fellow compers to win the more chance you will have of winning yourself

P:S I have asked the the great comping fairy to sprinkle some lucky star dust your way and so you should hopefully win some prizes very soon

I enter 100's a day and not won much this month, but if you stick at it you'll start to receive wins and it'll be worth it

I come on here around 9.00am and am entering comps on and off through out the day, ya win some ya loose some, but remember ya carnt win it if ya aint in it

i didnt win anything for 8 months yes 8 months :eek:, then had a few wins ,, and this month all i have won is one thing :eek:, and i feel sad about it ,, but i keep going every day entering hundreds every day ,

just hang in there you will win soon , even if it may be small like a mascara , thats still a win ,

I have been comping since the start of the year and my siggie will tell you what I've won so far, but that's it.

I tend not to enter for holidays abroad, as neither of us have current passports and it's just too much hassle. And I wouldn't enter for a concert ticket or whatever unless I could actually go.

I enter all the Itv comps, as they have great prizes, but so far not a dickie bird.

You could enter every competition and still not win any of them. It is the luck of the draw.

I haven't won anything since January, when I won a PSP and a Wii Fit in the space of a couple of weeks.

Also, I personally only enter comps for stuff that I want to win. I don't see the point in wasting time entering comps when I would have no use for the prize or if somebody else would actually want to win it.

I've been comping since November last year and have only won 2 prizes to date but then I only enter those comps with prizes I either need or would use. I have quite enough 'junk' (as my hubby would call it) around the house, so I don't enter just for the sake of winning a prize.

Your time will come - just be patient.

I too only enter the comps I want to win or that my family and friends can make use of.

I enter loads throughout the day and evening and have good months and bad so stick in there you'll win something soon I'm sure.

I've been entering comps on here for nearly a year now. I do it everyday (although, as others have said, only for things I want to win, I don't enter every comp!) so far I've won 100 itunes. :rotfl:

I started entering my nephew into the kids comps & within 2 weeks of me starting to do that he won a Zi6 Kodak Pocket Video Camera & he and his father are 1 of 10 father/son couples in the running to win a holiday to Orlando!!!! Jammy wee !!!!!!! lol The Great Comping Fairy clearly likes him!
