Oh the weather is getting worse! And my stomach hurts (pmt). Rubbish rubbish rubbish!

I wonder if I can get away with just filing and sorting and surfing the net at work today?! Hmmmm.
Life is all about the journey.

    Morning all!

Well, i'm 6 days over my due date and so fed up. Had a bit of a false alarm on Sunday. Had been getting contractions all day but they stoppped after i went to bed!!! Been getting strong braxton hick contractions, on and off, for about 3 days now. At least it seems that my body is trying its hardest to start labour! Midwife says that i will most likely be taken in on Sunday if i haven't given birth by then.

    Hope everyone is well.

    xx

Rasberry tea worked for me but maybe just pure concidence :rotfl:

Got ex eventually and had very long discussion with him to say I am not happy so he better pull his finger out:rolleyes::mad:

So heres hoping day doesnt get any worse:rotfl:

Yeah, it's less painful and less likely to need medical intervention in other ways if you go into labour naturally.

Thanks everyone! Hopefully i'm not too far off. Would prefer going myself rather than being induced. x

You should ask your midwife if she can give you a sweep! :rotfl:

I'm set to get the sweep on Thursday so i'm hoping that'll start something. If that doesn't work then it's the hospital on Sunday.

I've heard about the rasberry tea thing. Might give that a try. Can you just buy it in supermarkets?

I've used it twice, the tablets and the tea and both times ordered it off the internet. You need to make sure you get the 'real stuff' not just raspberry flavoured tea!
