Right, that's my tesco shopping ordered - will be delivered this evening. Snacking on some peanuts, brazil nuts and dried cranberries, trying to decide whether to do any work at all here today... hmmmm.

right, after catching up, I see a lot of people have been talking about diets, my new specialist subject :rotfl:
good luck to all of you and don't expect a miracle straight away. It took me ages to lose my first stone, believe it or not, but I'm glad I never really rushed my body into losing a tonne in one quick go - this weekend for example I admit I went nuts - 2 bottles of wine, giant lasagne and nachos and stuff, and only gained 1lb! a year ago I would have gained probably half a stone back or something! I'm 100% sure you'll all do fabulously and as long as you're doing it for yourselves and not someone else, you'll rock it :D

    *takes off preachy hat*

anyone else wish it was Friday, 6pm already?;)

dance festival, we left our 2 girls to do their make up, hair etc and had a coffee,
my dd was still fiddling around with curling tongs when I got back 15 mins later, not changed, not enough make up on,
trying to get her ready so they could have a quick practice, she had a hissing fit because she was trying to get her shoes on, without undoing them! Then threw them at me, I could have smacked her in front of everyone, but didnt. She was the last to get ready and they didnt practice. I rang my oh and yelled at him down the phone telling him top sort her out when we got home, which he did.
I drove all the way there, took 4.5 hrs out of my day for her!
She is not in my good books, I dont expect the attitude etc from an 11yr old!

Ahhhhh *hopes to god I win a Durex hamper soon!*;) Thing is, I'm not ready for an 11 year old but by the time I am, the baby I'm ready for now would be 11. But I'm not overly bothered yet.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Splodz, the ducklings are sooooooooooooooo sweet

ikkle, just wanted to add that it would help your stomach acidity if you have something to eat in the morning: a Muller yoghurt or a banana, just try to have something, no matter how small etc (it made a difference with OH)
