    Hi all!!

Well so far today, first thing I took the 2 dogs for a good walk with my friend and her dog over the fields. I am 13 weeks pregnant and finding it very tiring!! So I came back and had a cup of decaf tea and 2 crumpets to pep me up, hehe!!

Then I popped to Waitrose and bought a cooked chicken, I know not very mse or OS at all but just really fancied one and did not want to wait!!

Now I have picked my knitting back up, I started a white teddy bear I think it was last year and lucky I managed to work out where I left off so getting back into that now.

Not much else planned for the rest of today, DH has got the F1 on which I am getting more and more into, go Button!! Might have to do a few more bits of ironing later, just DH work tops really. Then gonna have a nice bath tonight and get in me jim jams :)

Hope everyone is having a lovely day xx

Hi, having a quiet day today as I've felt grotty for the last couple of days. I've got a beef joint in the slow cooker being pot roasted and I'm using up the Rhubarb from last year in a crumble later on. I also need to make some pasta salad and some cakes for school lunches next week. I've also cut both boys hair so they don't look quite so scruffy.

stefjb - we really enjoy geocaching and have now got into Open Street Map (which is better in the winter as it is more road based)

I'm hoping to get some quilting done today, I've got lots to get done before our quilt show in November. I only hand sew/quilt so everything takes quite a long time. But I've still got loads of washing to do before then so I'd better get moving:D

Oops, should have been DS. If you want to see where dh works then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C5s371cqpU

this is the kind of thing they get up to. Sadly there isn't a soundtrack any more, but it was very good. DH isn't in it by the way. I also have some interesting photos of dh meeting King Neptune as he crossed the equator for the first time. Farm masks would have been tame by comparison :rotfl:

Ohhh how exciting, still like the idea of the animal masks though :D

    Afternoon all,

Really nice day to-day here, not doing very much though as we have visitors and talking has been into the late hours the last couple of days.

Clothes on line if that counts as OS and have a pasta dish in oven...got the recipe on paper yesterday....just macaroni (cooked), chopped cooked bacon, eggs and mustard beaten into creme fraiche with lots of hard cheese, I have used grana padana which is all I have. Should be ready soon, served with large salad, there is fruit for pudding should anyone so wish.

Just met my latest "grand-daughter" a while ago....DS3 has got a second chihuahua/jack russell cross...they have called her Snapper which is not in my opinion a very 'girly' name...16 weeks old and up to everything!

Knitting is my evening occupation....and will be for quite some time I think.

    Have a good evening all

    Afternoon everyone :hello:

Another one here back from being AWOL! *hangs head in mortal shame* It's nearly the time of the KS1 SATS. :( My poor class. Though, the SATS are no where near as traumatic as the KS2 SATS for Year 6.

The 2nd load of washing today has just finished, so I suppose I'll have to empty that in a minute. :D

We went to the rugby again yesterday, taking with us some friends (my chief bridesmaid and her husband). We provided them with a picnic, which was sourced from the Farmers' Market (well the ingredients were, I just put it together!). They - the friends - told us that they're expecting their first baby. :j :j I'm so pleased for them!

I'm manning the box office for the local cinema night tonight. It's Slumdog Millionaire, which I still haven't seen so I've made sure that I've got tickets for the film! It's a quick supper tonight so that I can get down to the cinema - pasta with chilli & tomato chicken. Mmmmm.

    Anyway, I'd better crack on.
    Take care all

Oh don't say that  My DD starts hers next year - I must say I an NOT looking forward to it. She's a bright girl in the top groups at school, but she puts so much pressure on herself - anything less than perfect and she's not a happy bunny ;)
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Afternoon all. Had a busy day here, been doing more wedding planning (seems to be never ending!). I had a bit of luck today - went to a discount book outlet and got a Gill Holcombe book for £3.99, bit of a bargain. I also found the presents for the flower girls and am still smiling from yesterday...

My leathers fit me again! I'm jumping for joy here, after all my hard work and exercise, I can finally do the zip up. DH2B admits (gingerly ;) ) that they look a bit tight, but if the zip goes up, they fit, right? ;)

Homemade chicken nuggets with jacket potato wedges for tea tonight - they're already made and ready to be lightly fried. Catching up on the F1 now and I desperately need to wash my "helmet hair"

Have a good day everyone, and ((((hugs)))) to those in need.

Evening all - hope you've had a good Sunday?

It's been a glorious day here with sunshine for most of it which makes a pleasant change! Hung a load of washing out, so happy with that.

Had a lovely brunch and we've not eaten since then. DH made a lovely rogan josh curry last night that was very tasty :) Not too sure what we'll have for supper.

Can't believe that the weekend is over already - it's flown in.....

    Enjoy what's left of it!
