Help network problem!!
I ordered a mobile phone contract from T Mobile and included a free phone. I ordered this over the phone and a credit check(accepted no problem was quoted) was done whilst I was on the phone and the order was completed. At no point was I told I needed to pay a deposit of £100 towards this.
I received the phone two days ago and was surprised that when I tried to make a call that the line was suspended. I rang T Mobile and they told me it was because there was a £360 deposit for international roaming. I explained that I would not require this so they lifted the deposit. I was then able to make a call. I just called my partner so he could get my new number. He never answered.
Two hours later I receive a text stating I had gone over my credit allowance!! I ring T Mobile yet again only to be told it was because the International roaming deposit would take 24hrs to come off of my account but I would still be able to make calls.I tried to make a call and again I got the message that my line was suspended.
Again I ring up T Mobile only to be told that I owe them a £100 deposit to use my phone due to poor credit rating. I was passed around various different departments so that someone could explain this only to be told that the department I required was closed.
My issue is that I feel like I was missold the contract.......Whilst I understand why they charge a deposit I feel very mislead as I would have not took out the contract due to this. At no point was I told this at point of sale or when the phone arrived(not in terms and conditions of contract nor in any other literature). They apparently record all of their calls which I am glad of as I was NEVER told of this £100 deposit! One of the team leaders even admitted to me that I have been missold the contract and said she would contact a manager for me. I was promised a call from a manager yesterday and I never received one so I rang today to ask whats happening only to be told that I will get call today but nothing!!!
Does anyone know where I stand on this?

Can anyone help me with this?
Has anyone been through the same? Can you tell the outcome? x0 -
Personally I would just send the phone back, as its been mis-sold to you. You were not aware of any deposit that was required and did not agree to one being imposed. Just cancel it and start afresh with a new order, with T-Mobile or another network. Cut your losses now, before it gets even messier by trying to rectify the current contract terms.0
