BT total broadband options - should i stay or go?

Thanks for reading.

I have just agreed to sign on BT for an additional 12 moinths on the option 1 broadband package - still have four days left before the cooling off period ends - but i/we have a problem/opportunity.

the better half has an ipod and little one has her own pc - we are racking up the downloads and currently exceed the 10GB monthly allowance (last month was over 30GB).

the question is - do we go for the BT option 3 package (unlimited downloads at £24.46) or are there other opportunities? we have no cable network being out in the sticks.

grateful for any replies

many thanks

thanks pssst - have tried samknows and it seems only bt and talktalk are available - have looked at talktalk and the best there seems to be £17.74 for 40GB - unless of course anyone knows any sneaky tips...?

    thanks again

i am in the same situation where i renewed my contract with BT, but when i tried to cancel they told me they dont do a cooling off period and never have done.

im currently in dispute with them over this, and i am awaiting the outcome.
call and find out if you have a cooling off period because it is very misleading the way in which they say it.

if you they say you do then i would like to know aswell, as BT are telling me they dont do a cooling off period.

as for other alternatives, you could try the sky package or o2 if you have any o2 sim card lying around to get cheaper deal with them.
