Well I just managed to join the blog thing and follow the thrifty one. Had to make up my own blog lol, not sure whether I will actually use it yet although might be a good idea but will have to watch what I put on and who I let see it as if I start putting bits on that I have made and my family see them they will know what they are getting for Xmas.
The thrifty blog is fab though, well done Jammy and thanks for putting all the effort in. Love those candle in jars and also on her page she had some planters with gems they looked stunning too.0 -
no probs at all, it didn't take too long! i just wish you could download the spreadhseet without having to sign up to scribd, but never mind! Best I can do!
So this littlewoods bingo, how do you get the scratch cards? do you have to deposit money/register card details?
Well I'm feeling a bit naff about everything money making really. I haven't done so well because of being so busy and other things with making as much money/vouchers as possible for birthdays. So to perk me up, I think I'm just gonna concentrate on Xmas, and use what I have left over for Xmas presents rather than the birthdays too.

For the Littlewoods bingo...I'll try and explain it but it might be explained better here
You sign up and register and deposit £10, that entitles you to then do the free scratch card (minimum win 10p). You can then withdraw your £10 and carry on doing the scratchcard daily until you reach £10.10 and then you can withdraw £10 again. HTH0 -
Morning Everyone
Hope your all having a nice weekend, been really busy, but did manage to plough through all my clicks and surveys, got screened out (I'm so not sutible:rolleyes:) on most but did manage a few and loads of clicks, so a bit more for the pot. Still not downloaded your sheet yet Jammy or even updated my lists, really falling behind and the kids finish school soon so running out of time:eek: I really must get more organised.
Catch you all later, after I've been to the Tip,,,,, AGAIN!!!

I would like to clear up some confusions!
- If you want to VIEW the blog, you don't need to do anything other than visit thriftygifty.blogspot.com
- If you want to FOLLOW the blog, you need a blogger account
- If you want to BE A BLOG AUTHOR (e.g. write posts) you need to have (a) a blogger account and (b)e-mail thriftygifty@hotmail.co.uk stating your MSE username and e-mail address. I am happy to add anyone who has obviously used this thread, but to protect against spam, I won't be adding anyone whos MSE name I don't recognise (and I'll recognise most even if you only post occasionally). Can't take the risk of having an "unknown" loose on the blog just yet, I'm sure you understand why.
- TWITTER - If you have a twitter account you can follow ThriftyGifty BUT if you don't have a twitter account, you don't need one as all the updates are automatically linked to the blog. Tweeting was set up for my quick convenience, as it is shorter than writing a post and all in one place

I have to apologise I am not the most technical person in the world, or any good at crafting, (with the expection of my version of the Blue Peter letter rack - from the 1970s)!! but I make up for that in other ways....... my dd was once asked "what does your mummy do for a living" .... dd answered ....... "shes a professional kicker offer" - I have a reputation for complaining if something is wrong, or if bad service be that in person, on phone or by letter.... and I'm good at adding the 8% interest on for bank charges (even thou there on hold), so if theres anything I can do for anyone pm me and if I can help I will.
2 yrs ago when I was on hol, I ended up writing a letter for this bloke about his dodgy double glazing as he had been fighting a loseing battle for 12 months, 1 email back when were back in UK, problem fixed, retified and £200.00 goodwill gesture.
I've put the links in the 1st post for the folder challenge and Santas challanges, and further will be added in.
I've also put a link in for the organised christmas (it is american) but there are useful ideas.
Any set by my lovely Elf Choccy, shes adding to hers in Post 3.
Got to say a massive thank you to everyone of you, for making this a wonderful successful thread, the thread is for all of us, by all of us (if that makes sense).
THANK
(apologies wrote it on the wrong thread) xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
