Thrifty Gifty - Money Making for Christmas & All Ocassions 2009

Have been looking mainly at the organised side of things, but do try and do surveys etc.
Am currently listing a load of cds and dvds on musicmagpie, know its pennies but 1) dont have a card so can't sell on ebay (which is a shame as I have a coast top with tag still on that doesnt fit and an unwanted linea belt with the £25 price ticket still attached) and 2) I couldn't be bothered with the hassle and just want it all out the house lol.
Up to £40 so far, nearly finished- anyone else used them? If so how long did it take your cheque to arrive?
I have also joined up to bingoport and have been doing toluna and lightspeed for a while.
not finished the thread, just wanted to say hi0 -
I've found a way to make some extra money for christmas, I am helping my brother with his cleaning. I'm only doing it once a week, probably only once a fortnight when we've got on top of that tip of a flat and only for two hours at a time because I can't manage anymore with my back. I'm giving him motivation and being firm with him more than anything, he's got so much junk and he won't throw any of it away! He's got hundreds of books so next week we are going through them and deciding which to keep and which to try and sell on Amazon/eBay.
He's going to pay me £20 a time anyway. I've asked him to keep it all til October and then whatever i've got, i'm going to use towards pressies:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

Hi cyclingyorkie - there is a whole thread here http://http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=609037 all about Daily Clicks. The gist of it is that certain sites pay you pennies to do searches through other sites. You click on a link on their page and it takes you to a search engine on another page where you do a search. Then the second site pays the first site for getting them trade and they pass some of it on to you. You usually have to wait about 30 days or more in some cases before you start getting your money but after a couple of months you will start to get a bit back. It can be time consuming but I think its worth it. You have to be dedicated though to earn the money as if you just do the clicks once in a blue moon it will take you ages to get to pay out level (can differ from site to site.)
Hope this helps a bit and hasnt confused you even more lol. Good luck xx0 -
Nice one Hayley. I've been spring cleaning, bit late I know but there you go lol. We have about 30 or 40 people coming to OH's party now which is only 4 weeks away. Lots of little DIY jobs about the place to get done to tart the place up.0

Hi Sarah
Basically Paypal is like a middle man between you and ur bank, Paypal is tied into an email address, and dont know if you set it up to your bank account.
Basically Bview will pay direct to your paypal account, if you want to withdraw the money (they may of changed the limit - but going on what I know), if you withdraw less than £50 Paypal charge you 35p if you withdraw over £50 its free, the money then goes into ur bank account, this can take 7 to 10days.
The good thing with paypal is no-one gets to see your bank account details.
xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Sarah - hope you feel better soon hun and I hope you haven't got swine flu!
I'm going to treat myself to a cute Me To You folder I saw in WH Smiths, I think i'll use it and look after it better if I think it's pretty. :rotfl: Can't wait til Wednesday, I literally have 30p in my bank and no money on me! Apart from my £2 coins but i'm not spending them! Think happy & you'll be happy
