t-mobile upgrade
just a bit of a gripe really been with t-mobile for the last 17 years, same number, got a second line with them as well on my account paid, good as gold every month, and today as my upgrade is due i went into the store to see what they would offer me....as it turns out not alot at all a phone that looks like it came out of jurassic park basically!so much for loyalty!phoned them up and told them i wasnt happy, fell on deaf ears so now ive had enough every year ive had to fight with them to get something decent, but not anymore im of to someone else.....The reason they dont like me i can only think is that my bill is only 20 quid a month i never go over my allowence so basically they make no money out of me......but why should i go for a so called mega deal of 800mins a month when i wouldnt use it???you see all these people walking out with x amount of minutes a month that they dont use its a complete waste of money

try again at the end of the month, makes a difference.
Also, phone them don't go into store, go through to customer services and say you are thinking about leaving and want a better deal... they will put you though to retentions and they will have quite often better offers that aren't available instore.0 -
Exactly the same happened to me, 2 lines with them been with them for years but not paying too much. Wanted to charge me £50 for an upgrade and increase my bill by £10 a month. Even when I told them I could get the same deal with another provider inc. free phone they would not waive the £50 for the phone. Tried several times during the month with no joy..
Now on O2 and the 2nd line will follow.0 -
Loyalty doesn't count for anything with mobile companies - you're better off changing every so often to get the best 'newbie' deals. Keeping your number is a lot easier now as well - should be 48 hours maximum to get it swapped over.0
