I just called BT to ask when my initial 12 months is up (next week).
Said I'd been looking around for cheaper, no-limit service and was possibly looking to upgrade to faster at the same time.
Got offered to choices:
1) 25% off (down to £18.49) for 4 months
2) 1meg for same price currently paying for 512K (£24.99)
They advised that d/l limits may come in but not before March 2005 (I thought it was Jan). On the 1meg the limit is 30gig/month.
I'l probably keep looking for better deals but took them up on the 1meg free upgrade in the meatime!!
Takes 7 days to switch over.

I am with Virgin Plan2, 3gb monthly download £17.99 per month,on monthly contract,i.e not 12 month tie in.
Is gb more than mb or vice versa?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
