how long for broadband connection to move

from pipex to o2? what number is there to call 02 to make sure that they offer the right type of broadband connection. had difficulty finding on their website today. thanks in advance.

    You dont want to speak to o2 if you can possibly avoid it as you should want to sign up entirely online and blag the current £70 cashback from Quidco or alternative. Once you have given o2 your MAC it will usually take 5-10 days to implement it, sometimes even faster. If you put your number into the o2 website it will tell you what packages they offer - ie you should want their ADSL2+ "LLU" packages - eg the Premium upto 20Mbps (really 24Mbps) for a net cost of as little as c£18 for the first YEAR, not month!

    i know that i have all of their packages but does not actually have it written up as you say in your post like this...should i check specifically as you say ADSL 2 and HOW do i actually check this online - went to 02 website and does not say it as you metioned here. thanks

    Suggest you read/study my features/comparison document as linked above.

    If o2 are offering you their LLU packages - Standard/Premium/Pro - then for many people Premium will be the best value for money over the first year commitment but it's down to your line quality and priorities

    At today's date the Quidco £70 is still available; and o2's 3m free on Premium/Pro continues to the end of the month.
