PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Well we moved earlier this month, and blimey has it been hardwork since! NTL have been dumped they threatened legal action and I've managed to get them to break contract. Sky have installed, BT have put in a line, Broadband arrived yesterday, and the flat pack furniture is 95% built.
Its been a long journey to get to this stage, and a few tears were shed during the move, our next stage is to dump our new car in favour of the low milage M reg car we picked up last week so can remortgage and get out of the 100% deal in 3 years. Since moving I've started to try and reclaim all the charges Halifax hit me with when I was over my overdraft and credit card limit (even though I begged them to up my limits)
It was the best feeling sitting on the Patio together last weekend having a drink as the sun went down knowing we'd done it
Good luck to every forum member
If we can manage it, you can too
