Martin has lost weight since he took his little pic in the top left corner, hasn't he?!

I've done that on my iTouch. :o
It's an iPod Touch. No such thing as an iTouch. Someone else even owns that name, I think.

On topic: Looks like a good show, I am just gonna watch it now.

Back to thread. Prog provided basic education/advice. No discussion on lenders responsibility to provide rejected applicants with information for manual appeals (CC) (Credit Scoring Guidelines)
Each lender can decide their own scoring criteria so CRA 'projections' indicative at best. No mention of employment status or ability to pay.
I may be persuaded to pay CRAs a reasonable sum for a projection analysis for a specified CC application to avoid multiple applications appearing on my Credit record, ie insurance quotes, variable limits
    My beef
    CC aplication (limit £1K) refused
Unemployed avail income £20K mainly from savings/investments
Credit avail £14K 4 cards for specific purposes eg internet, cashback, recurring payments, rewards
    Credit score - excellent
Poss negatives = unemployed, avail credit limit, balances cleared monthly (no profit)

I would be willing to close 1 CC for another with agreable conditions, even high APR, but applications do not offer this.

The prog suggested a better outcome eventually for declared bankrupts than collateral victims

do you know what is happening with the UK26 case? is it ongoing as i write?

Yes mate, he is concentrating on Lovell first and when he gets them, he'll work on Experian. bear in mind he has Lovell over a barrel - they keep trying to strike out but he's using all the top legal advice on CAG (CAG is full of legal advisers etc so great for the legalities)

He will win, both - cos he is right! :j

As far as I know. I haven't paid for any access and TBH I find CAG very hard to navigate.

    WHAT?

Sutton, its the same as this - but slightly more advanced interface that's all. Instead of thanks you have scales and you earn respect, not via posts but by thanks and you must give so many thanks before getting it - plus limited to how many thanks you can give!

You & Innocent would be on post count 500 if compared - LOL :rotfl:

Personally I prefer CAG but that is because I believe in their ethics, in that they truly fight for us, the consumer. MSE should be changed to say 'UK Consumer Savings', I do feel 'UK Consumer Revenge' is more of a CAG slogan :A

I am curious to find out about UK26 case. He needs all the support he can get and i am sure most would rally round him.
If the outcome is positive, it would be beneficial to all of us and the result would no doubt shake the entire credit industry

UK26 is under a gag order right now so will not and cannot disclose anything. This would explain why the forum threads on CAG are missing a lot of the data.

I will keep posters on MSE updated when the time is right. But to be honest it will be headline news. He has awesome help from the legal bodies within CAG and us, for supporting him financially.

Thats refreshing. I agree that he should remain silient. I read the entire thread on CAG forum. Even though i was happy to be opportuned to have read it, i was worried on the other hand that the other side (Lowell, Experian etc) could be reading as well and use what they see to their advantage.
I wish him the very best
