Hi all
Yes my mortgage with MAS 5 has just gone up or will on 1st May but only to 3.56% "as a result of the quarterly LIBOR reviewt" (their words). I do not know the subtle reasons why your rates are that much higher ... perhaps it is to do with the proportion of the house MAS control! I was sold on from GMAC having been sold on previously a year earlier. It's lovely (not) knowing one is just a product and not a sentient being.0 -
It's really comforting thanks )0

I wish my mortgage would be increased to 3.56% that would suit me. They have just April 1st increased mine to 5.25% and they tell me they are not linked to libor or the bank rate. Greedy thieves in my opinion. Gopher.0

Hi, I am an Independent Mortgage Adviser and am looking at remortgaging a new client. He has a buy to let with Verso/Mas No5.
I am trying to find out the standard variable rate so I can make sure the new product I obtain for him is better. I have looked online and phoned a few contacts but cannot find this info anywhere. I am hoping that some existing borrowers with Verso read this and know what it is please?!?
Anyone also wants some free mortgage advice, feel free to contact me andrew@dgsmortgages.co.uk
Thanks0 -

hi,just seen this thread after searching for complaints about MAS NO.5.
I too have had problems with them, after getting in to financial difficulty, which if they hadnt increased their rates in the past 2 years i may have been out of.
Is anyone still pursuing their complaint or had any joy with the FO about them?0 -
I can`t believe that I am not alone in this matter.
I am going to dig out my paperwork as my mortgage has risen about six times this year, the last one being this month.
will be back soon with info,
just one thing if this is five what happened to the other four???0 -
Is there any further updates on the thread? I am with MASN 5 too...0

Has anyone else - who has a mortgage with MAS no 5 - received a letter in the last few days saying their mortgage interest has increased, or am I just the lucky one?0
