Don't bother with the Chatham / Kent one, a pale imitation compared with Gunwharf Keys in Portsmouth which IMHO is excellent.

A couple of weeks ago I found out about a guy who stands on Dewsbury market every Friday. He sells Topshop seconds, clothes, shoes and handbags.

My friend told me that he is there at 4.30am every week which I didn't believe, but when I went last Friday mid morning, the guy said that it is true.

He had loads of stuff that is still instore including quite a bit of the Kate Moss and other designer stuff. Best of all, he is really cheap. All the labels are cut out, and everything has something wrong with it - small hole or dirty etc, but I reckon I got about £300 of stuff for about £50. What a bargain.

Am currently saving up for a repeat visit in the New Year - even considering buying some stuff to sell on ebay to pay for my stuff!!

So how long you been trading on dewsbury market?
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.
  • Hi

    MANGO OUTLET

My first post. There is a MANGO outlet online. I have used it, speedy delivery from Spain. Fab bargains, just google mango outlet. I got a silk dress, £90 down to £10 and a skirt for £5. Tops for £3 etc. Site is not great, Top right hand scroll gallery with tiny pics, if you hover on them it shows prices. But hundreds of items so if you click each one for the big picture with full details you will be there all day. Worth a look for Mango fans who can't bear the full RRP.

    Mango outlet website click here

In relation to hotnurse2008's post, I dont know about the guy selling top shop gear etc... but I live close by and generally Dewsbury market is exceptional, It is a very large hustle and bustle type market and a very nice walk around. Lots of stall and lots of competition. Nearly as much fun as Leeds market imo.(I like very large and very busy markets)

  • Hi - the map is a great idea, can I add a good factory shop too please?

    It's Label Traders

sells discounted ladies, mens, kiddies and some homeware, mostly bedding, towels etc.

If you join their (free) VIP scheme they'll mail you with their special sale days too plus you get an additional discount on any purchases.
M&S, republic, next stuff amongst others.

It's about a mile from the East Midlands Designer village nr j28 of M1 and has plenty of parking.

Directions - continue past the east midlands designer village on the A38 heading towards Mansfield for approx 1 mile. Turn left at the 5th set of lights (by big pub Ashfields), continue for 500m - factory shop on left, open 7 days/wk.

please confirm that this is the right one, if not I will remove them from the map

    Thanks

The map is brilliant - thanks for all your hard work!!

That is indeed the right website for Label Traders as mentioned above!

cheers. I think the thread is an excellent idea full stop. It is a shame though that more people dont add more company shops on here as I am sure there will be loads more out there.

I think there are judging by the amount of ex-items that appear on ebay but people don't want to publicise them too much .
