Went to Masson Mill in Matlock at the weekend and got some great bargains (Clothing) from the catalogue clearance shop there. The lady on the counter was telling me that there was a great M&S and Next factory seconds place nearby. She went often but didnt know where it was to direct us to it. She said it was between Matlock and Nottingham. Does anyone know where this is? Thanks
Can anyone help with where this is please? Is there a difference between a next factory shop and a next clearance shop?

It could be the East Midlands McArthur Glen outlet shopping centre just near to J28 of the M1. They have an M&S Outlet shop and also a Next Clearance shop, + many others.

You need to have a business or get nominated by your worlplace to get a card.

You used to be able to get a day pass many years ago but I am not sure if you still can. The drawback with that was that you had to pay cash, no cards.

There is no minimum spend. I find Makro quite expensive for some things so you really have to know your prices.

It is good for the items in the Makro Mail offers if they actually have them.

Hi everyone, I live in Essex and was wondering if anyone knows of any factory outlets nearby my area? Or any that I could easily travel to?

I am particularly interested in Topshop seconds

    Thanks! :rotfl:

Just seen this thread! great thread btw OP!

Topshop actually get the vast majority if not all their stuff from places like China- thus, no factory here.
The do get some samples which are used to advertise their stuff, but sadly, this all gets sold on inhouse to the staff within head office. I know, I was one. It is sorely missed- I now don't work for then :(
They even go as far as taking your ebay details when you get the job as its a huge offence with dire consequences if you sell on anything you buy (people do though- its the clothes without the labels in...) and no, that wasn't why I lost my job- it was the fault of the credit crunch- (last in, first out.)

Yes, it is still there I went yesterday. Think they open every day. I get brilliant bargains from them, we go regularly because they have a quick turnover so there's usually something new.
