Great Factory Shops Hunt

Try Croft Mill. It is somewhere in that area but geography was never my strong point. It carries good quality fabric at reasonable prices. I bought sheeting there years ago and it is still going strong. [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]There web site has some details on it. [/FONT]

Does anyone know of any in South Yorkshire area? We like to have a run out to those kind of places and get a few bargains. I used to go to Readmans at Leeds but it got sold out and I'm not sure if its there now. Also used to pop in to Tradex but that's shut up shop too so its hard to get a bargain now! With all the bills going up now it's more like a neccessity than an indulgence!

I know what you mean. I am in SY and we used to have tons of places - SR Gents etc The only ones I know of now are The Company SHop at Tankersley,(but they have a strict membership code). They sell food almost at its sell by date from all major supermarkets. There are Catalogue clearances at High Street Wombwell and Hoyland that sometimes have good clothing from La Redoute. There's lots of stuff at the Mill Mile in Batley, which isnt too far by car. Theres a furniture place at Alexander Mill in Batley that sells M&S and Laura Ashley - its ok, but not as good as it used to be. Also next to Alexander Mills is a big Berwin and Berwin store selling v cheap and good quality mens clothing, mainly tailored items.

Hi, 1 think you mean the Mccarthur Glen outlet at Mansfield (junction 28 M1) i don't think the next stuff is seconds just end of line. Hope this helps.
