Network Deposits for no credit history?

Hi,

I need a new contract soon, my previous one was in a relative's name as when I applied o2 wanted a deposit of £150 due to my age (18). I'm now 19 and want to get it in my own name. Does anyone know what each network charges as a deposit, assuming they use a standard fee?

Thanks, GT

... why not try and transfer the other one into your name?

Where I work the networks have a set list price that we follow - don't know if it holds true to other companies etc though.

    O2 - £50 (3 months) or £200 if you don't hold a uk passport (3months)
    T-Mobile - £100 (3 months)
    Orange - £150 (12 months)
Three - £150 (life of contract - has to be terminated to get it back according to the advisors)
Vodafone - either yes or no, no deposits allowed - but the vodafone shop do charge £100.

Do see a lot of people coming in with cashplus credit cards which I understand to be pre paid credit cards - they seem to pass on o2, virgin and three g fine.

The current contract is too expensive, so I need to get a new deal.
