Virgin Internet - How do I Cancel??
I am changing to Tesco Broadband on 20th December. Short of just stopping my direct debit, is there an easy way, without using Virgin's 25p a minute help line, to cancel my Virgin Internet service. I have looked on the web site but there seems to be no information about how to cancel. I do not use premium rate lines as they have a habit of keeping one hanging on for ages and whilst "my business is important to them" what is more important to them is that I hang on for ages clocking up an expensive bill.
Nice to save.

You could try using the 0845 no. where they will be to assist, 0845 6500000, or this number which is supposed to be there head office 0207 6646000.
Aren`t you supposed to give them 28 days notice? if you have and you have the MAC code then just cancel the DD.
If you are on dial up there should not be a DD.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
pedro3uk, if I were you I would definitely cancel the direct debit. A friend of mine had huge problems a couple of months back trying to disconnect from Virgin. Despite being told several times that it had been cancelled, they continued to take payments month after month.
Not even sure he's got it all sorted yet. So by all means contact Virgin to cancel, but also cancel the direct debit yourself just in case!0
