Sorry if this is in the wrong place, couldnt find a better place.
Every year I get my credit report from the following places to check them out for errors or false credit on my file as my OH suffered from credit on her credit files that wasnt hers and took ages to sort out.
http://www.callcredit.co.uk
http://www.equifax.co.uk/
http://www.experian.co.uk/
https://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk/ (Free one every year)
I just wondered how many agencies there are out there that hold our details and that lenders use ?
IIRC equifax and experian are the most common used for searching ?

I believe there are 3 and I believe annualcreditreport use call credit.
You should be able to verify that if you have all 4.
The first and last should be identical.0 -
Sorry, which one is annual credit report? Surely not a CRA0

woah, lets all get sensible for one minute - annualcreditreport is NOT a CRA and should never be associated with one!
The three CRA's are:
Experian
Equifax
Call Credit
That is it, nothing more nothing less.2010 - year of the troll

Sorry if I have confused people.
There are 3 CRA as already stated.
The 4th service that the OP uses in post 1, is not a CRA but a free on-line service which I believe uses the CRA called Call Credit.
The OP should be able to verify this for themselves.
Sorry for the confusion, but I did not say annualCreditReport are a CRA.
They are an online service (free once per year) that uses a CRA to get their info.
BTW - I've used them for 3 years now. I have no conncetion, but jsut thought I'd mention that I'm not aware of getting any spam from them.0 -

Sorry, but I understand now, cheers.
The CRA's are the 3 above. (My 1st 3) The others (my 4th) are 3rd parties that get you CR using one of the CRA's.
Many Thanks never-in-doubt & Lizyloo0 -
Hi
Yes, you're just referring to an online provider. Always go direct and pay £2 for the statutory report as these companies that offer 'it all' don't actually offer it all. They only have access to 60% of relevant data.
We suggest trying the main 3 CRA's and then the 4 FPA's, as mentioned in my previous posts.2010 - year of the troll
