    Order of merit as follows:

    Experian - No1
    Equifax - No2
Call Credit - Barely used and not relevant unless you have major issues not shown on 1&2 (unlikely)

I completely forgot that I checked my credit report on annualcreditreport.co.uk ages ago, so out of interest re-logged back in to check it any funny going-ons have been done on my credit report.

The format has changed loads since last logging on.

They say that i'm not on voters roll (but had a voters card through last week) and I have 2 alerts??? (one 2007 and one 2008) and also I had something to do with shop direct finance but now closed, but it doesnt show me instaed on the next screen asks me to subscribe. What are alerts on credit reports?? I dont even know if this is my report or just a standard on to show what one looks like.

does anyone know how accurate they are these days???

Please read this thread from the start and you'll clearly see we've said that these firms do not offer credit reports like the real thing. The results you see should be taken for what they are, free junk! You are no better off using them than spending £2 to each of the three CRA's.

Then you'll really know the score and have factual credit data in your hands.

sorry, i should have noted that I have ordered a credit report from experian, and because of this remembered annualcreditreport.co.uk, and was going to cross check the info to see if they correspond.

Yes thats a great idea then you can tell us the differences but from memory these 3rd parties miss a lot of data, just cant remember what. Anyway i'd always say to be certain use the CRA's direct.... trust me the 3rd parties won't be able to let you view cifas entries - thats a certainty! ;)

    Free AnnualCreditReport...

It may be.. and to suit your own circumstances and others, but remember that it is a 'one off freebie' (unless you pay to subscribe for extra reports) which gives you a screenshot of your credit report once a year.

A hell of a lot can change on your credit files within a the space of 365 days!
