Whats the cheapest way to get eurosport ? - bearing in mind I am currently in dispute with Virgin Media - so can't use them.

  • The only other way AFAIK is a paid subscription through SKY.

    There may ways with a motorised dish to another satellite, but I can't confirm this.

    If you aim your dish at the Astra satellite at 19.2 degrees you can see the Eurosport channel for free as it's free to air on that satellite.

    Not on my Technomate receiver it isn't, it is scrambled on all...what frequency is it Free to Air please?

    Transponder 12226, if you haven't got it go to Menu/PID Search/Add TP then enter 12226 27500 H then press the red scan button and it should now be there

    It's not a channel I normally watch, i tuned to it today for the first time to answer the original poster's question.

    As I write this there is a tennis match with Venus Williams and Danara Safina and it is in German. However, as I have said before, watching sport is like watching !!!!!!, you don't really need a commentary
