What Intel says is partly right but not the whole story. We may have to sort this out in stages.

I suggest you print out or copy this page to Notepad in order to assist you when carrying out the following instructions.

In Internet Explorer, click Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - Trusted sites - Sites button. Select the web site and then click Remove.

Right-click My Computer - Properties - General tab. Under System, if it doesn't say '64-bit' or 'x64' then you don't have 64-bit Windows.

What chippy says is, of course, correct. I has also incuded the removal of the 015 key in the HJT fix (see above) so make sure you fix that too IF it's still there.

1. i didn't dowbload the lop.

2. it's ok, not great.

3. i've done something to task manager and it only shows cpu calcs which are between 20 and 30% how do i get it back to normal view?

Please let me know your thoughts on the relevance of RIPE to your setup.

As to why you are only seeing the higher %CPU usages in your task manager I've not come across this before. Try this ... if you open task manager and click on "View" at the top one option is to "Refresh". Click on that. Any improvement?

i don't know anything about RIPE. My isp is talktalk through carphonewarehouse.

don't know what i did to the task manager but don't have any fiel view edit buttons up top not even a line for them it's just the cpu bit???
