Maybe you should switch to TalkTalk and make real savings for better service.
You cough £18 a month for something you don`t use
that`s clever.
How much do you pay TOTAL a month for BB + calls + line rental?0 -
OK, really are you an idiot? Its getting close to trolling now. Let me go over it again.
1) TalkTalk service is one of the worst I have ever been exposed to, and in fact is one of the worst in the Uk. I have been with them before, as I aluded to earlier, and will not ever go back.
2) I use the net so need a phone line, my line has free E+W calls on it anyway so I am not paying extra.
3) I pay less than £18 a month (well, now and then its gone up if I had to make mobile calls or whatnot, but not to more than £20).The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20 -
I pay roughly the same as you (no more than 25p a month on a normal month) for a SUPERIOR LEVEL OF SERVICE.

If you are happy who you`re with
great.
We all have different opinions of what`s "best".
All the best and keep on "truckin`"0 -
...it’s business as usual for Tiscali customers for now. This means their service, monthly payments and customer service contacts remain the same...
I feel sorry for you Tiscali users! I had Tiscali for several years and experienced truly awful customer service. Not only did all the premium rate calls cost me a fortune, but the folks in India actually lied to get me off their backs. They even chased me for payment ... and I didn't even have an operational broadband service!0 -
They certainly are:
Until recently I was on TT international evenings and weekends for £16-39 a month.
I have now changed to TT Essentials for £17-74 a month but my 18 months contract continues as normal, until this Oct.
For my £17-74 I get my line rental,up to 8 meg Broadband (average is 6.5megs),free evening and weekend calls, free LOCAL calls anytime, free international calls, anytime to 36 countries, and from 2nd June free 0870 & 0845 numbers within my calling package.
Also because of the VAT being reduced to 15%,on my April bill I paid only £4-89 because of the £11-50p rebate TT gave me.
ALL this for £17-74 a month,if anyone can tell me of a better deal than this ,shout up NOW.

TalkTalk are cheap - but as someone else said, not necessarily the best. By the way, my current Tiscali deal is cheaper - £15.99 a month which includes everything yours does but not the international calls (which I wouldnt use) and an excellent TV service.0 -
I have to say that I have never had any trouble with Tiscali, having been with them for 3 years. Once we had a hiccough , but it was soon resolved and we had £10 of that months bill.
£19.99 for broadband, landline and free calls, including to DS in the US is great.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)0 -
tiscali charged me for one years worth of contract BEFORE it started. It took six months to get the £ 120 back and they only paid because i sent the complaint by registered post thrice, asked for all my data under the DPA and told them they were in beach of contract as they then stopped the service paid for one year ahead after I asked for a MAC and did not use it.i sent over 50 emails , had very poor english replies from somewhere in asia etc etc.other people had the same experience most people cant be bothered to fight them.
Now onetel( which was fine) has been taken over by talktakl and the tiscali experience is starting all over again...0 -
Both Tiscali and TalkTalk are dreadfully bad companies, no change whoever owns Tiscali.
I would never touch TalkTalk again for broadband, their phone service was OK a few years ago apart from routing issues where you'd lose the CLID, so people wouldn't answer your call as it came up unavailable or withheld.
CS at TalkTalk is dreadful. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
