HELP! Best value PAYG for texting abroad from U.K., and texting whilst roaming??

I am an Orange contract customer seriously contemplating transferring to a cheap PAYG. Looking for something that offers cheaper text deals when roaming abroad and texting from U.K.

Any ideas??

If you're going to spend any significant amount of time in one country, I advise you to do what I did when I first spent a few weeks in Germany. I bought a Sagem PAYG phone for EUR 30 which included EUR 20 of credit, and just told everybody "this is my German number". Seems to be working quite well for me.
