vodafone insurance repair rip off
I took my phone into vodafone for an insurance repair after dropping it. When I got it back, It took me all of less than 1 minute to find it had the same fault it went in with!!!
All they did was flash the firmware! I could have done that at home for free. They billed me £25 and did nothing!
The fault the phone (an n96) developed was that if the slider was used it would switch the phone off. All they had to do was switch on the phone and slide it open to see whether the problem was fixed!
it's the 5th time it's been in for repair this year. CS gave me 1 month free line rental (yet to be credited), but only on the condition that I told them, and repeated that I was happy with the service I had received from vodafone(!) and send it back in for 1 another repair
the 5 repairs this year, don't include the approx 7 from last year as well!
