Ashoka off Byres Road is very good and I can second Pink Turban in Wishaw if not too far. They do a great buffet and if you want anything else not in it, they will cook it to order at no extra cost.0

im sorry to say i cant agree with this opinion, i had a bad experience the last time i was there, the buffet was so bad both me and girlfriend became ill whilst eating it,a call to local council had no previous reports of anything that night but did warn it wasnt high on thier choice of resturaunts to dine....work permit granted!0 -

Im surprised, but we have only been to it twice and each time it was packed. We only stumbled upon it when nephew was in Wishaw General,0 -
I'm surprised that no-one's mentioned the Shish Majal on Park Road yet (nr. Kelvinbridge, Gt Western Rd.) One of Glasgow's original Indian restaurants. The food, atmosphere and service are all superb. You'll need to book.0

For anyone in Lanarkshire If you like budget buffets you like I would recommend The Pink turban at waterloo, wishaw.Very cheap- great selection and lovely service.
I concur.
It changed hands not so long ago and has improved leaps and bounds. Worth the effort to visit.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -

Hi all,
Been reading write ups, tried several take away/rest in Glasgow in my time! Have been using "Yadgar" restaurent for a number of years at 148 Calder Street,Glasgow,it is a sit in/takeaway. Its sells traditional pakistani food. There is a sit in area and take away area, Majority of there customers are asian placing orders via phone and collecting, We would highly recommend the "Chicken Karahi" off the bone. its so Yummy!
Im going to stop going on and on, If you are looking for a proper indian style curry restaurent would highly reccomend! You wont be disapointed!0
