Tis here :) Go down to Home Users (ESET NOD32 Antivirus v2.7) and it's the middle one. I think you need to purchase it though first as it's password protected

Thanks I found it but you need username and password to download from there and in order to get that you need to download trial but you can't get trial of that version.

    Thanks anyway!

Yep I will try Avast again see if it will update this time.

As I say it is just short term as new computer is being bought soon, just need something to keep their current one clean till then.

Just out of interest....what do you all recommend, XP or Vista? Personally I am an XP user and very happy but just wondered what others thought.

Can you tell me what they mean when they say Vista but with downgrade to XP......do you choose when you set the computer up for first time as to which?

I think it means you get both Windows XP and Vista recovery disks. XP might be pre-installed then you have disks to upgrade to Vista... not too sure though.

Vista's okay now, Windows 7 will be here 2010

Avast worked with my old Win98se machine, automatically updated O.K, only 192mb RAM, but IIRC the 'resident shield' features are disabled.
    Move along, nothing to see.
