The S1 was a very substandard handset if you want a skype phone get the S2 much nicer and much more substantial. The program will look and run the same on any phone you have it on only major difference is that on the S phones themselves theres a dedicated quick launch button

Why not pay for a one time cost for a skype phone from Three and use that without any monthly top up or contract or data charges.

Any other phone - you will need to download the Skype software for the mobile from http://skype.com/intl/en-gb/mobile/ but your network will charge for the internet usage.

Get a skype enabled three phone and there is no charge with Three.

To use Skype from a mobile requires an internet connection.

If internet connection is not included in whatever package you are on then this will be an additional cost, which varies with which carrier you are with (o2, Orange etc)

Yes thats right - internet usage for the data is not free unless you use the Three network with a skype enabled phone.

And note too with the Three skype phone, only your Skype usage is free, not the rest of the internet (apart from some of the freebies that Three offer on contract such as ebay).

You could buy an internet "bolt on" I suspect which may work out cheaper, depending on how often you wish to use Skype.

PS - your inbox is full
