Barclaycard customer retention - free money!

I had a Barclaycard back from when they were the best for cashback and doing various promotions. I have been trying to cancel the card for over 6 months now, but by telling them I was leaving because of the 5% cashback at Amex, they kept offering me reasons to stay. I've summarised them below, so hopefully anyone leaving with one of these cards can maybe do the same (I had always paid off in full, no interest, good history etc)

• Gave me another 3 months at 2% cashback (So I use it as my non-Amex taking alternative)
• Tried to close it again, gave me another month at 2%
• Tried again, said they couldn't give me cashback but would put a credit of £30 on for the expected cashback I'd receive! I spent the £30 right away!
• Tried to close again, this time they credited me £50!! Which I was able to spend and close the account down right away - sadly no more free money could be obtained, but left me a happy camper!
