i have a pug 2002 high mileage 120.000 on clock when purhased with full service history we've done about 30.000 in 4 years in it its a 307 1.6 glx petrol new walker exhaust system cat back less than a year ago use local garage to fuel up £20-40 a visit (dont let it go below the second white line up from the red if i can help it), not supermarket, this anti pollution fault keeps comeing up have been on fault code reader 3 times when it has come on as to wich the diagnosis is "it's going through every fault code there is all i can do i wipe the code from memory" and it comes back again after. it had the crank sensor (intermotor), lambda sensor(fuels parts), new exhaust manifold (dealer) (common problem) on pugs they crack as to wich this one did and all four abs sensors (ferodo brakes parts) (another common problem) new fuel pump (my pump is siemens out of a 407 2.0 according to pug dealer when he searched the serial no' on the pump) new spark plugs 6months ago(NGK) timing belt and tensioners done 5k ago (gates timing kit) and iv'e had the gearbox go as to wich it was reconed another common problem on pugs/citreons/renaults.anti polution fault, it seems to come on at high revs in any gear i have given it a good drive and have put addative in tank to clean out injecters e.t.c but when fuel is low and havent had chance to fuel up say quarter of a tank it refuses to start or will cut out even before the fuel light comes on! but on checking the injector bleed valve fuel poors out at good pressure just dont know what wrong with it any idea's. in the morning when its cold it'll miss like hell as the whole car will judder with the engine then when warm wil settle to normal
  • got this problem on 2003 307 2.0 se , had a diagnostic done and came up with crank sensor fault , am i right in thinking there are two crank sensors ? or am i being miss-led by a dodgy mechanic? was also told it could be injector problem , but the car still shifts like stink with the foot down. And anybody know best place to buy these pesky little sensors?
