Anyone transfered IF.com (Intelligent Finance) cash ISA ?

I have been trying for nearly 4 weeks to transfer my If.com ISA to A&L to get a better rate.
It seems that instead of carrying out the transfer as soon as they receive the request form they wait for the 30 days then transfer you balance.
I know rules say that it should be transferred within 30 days but to hold onto your request form for that time is very annoying.
Not only that they cant tell you if the forms been received so you maybe waiting 30 days only to find out that your transfer forms gone missing.
Anyway rant over, Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried to transfer out of an Intelligent Finance ISA ?

I have just sent off a request to IF to also transfer an ISA to A&L and I will let you know the progress!0

I transferred mine from IF to A&L about 6 or 8 months ago and IIRC there was no big delay, certainly not 30 days. I just printed the form out from the A&L site and posted it to IF.0

I transferred mine to Halifax at the end of last year and it took almost 2 months to sort out. The account was backdated accordingly though. If A&L take a long time, just make sure that they backdate the interest for you.0

I transferred from IF to YBS over a year ago, and I don't remember any big delay either.Lorian wrote:I transferred mine from IF to A&L about 6 or 8 months ago and IIRC there was no big delay, certainly not 30 days. They will backdate the interest if you ask them to so it doesnt matter too much.Save save save!!0

I'm in the same boat, trying to transfer my ISA (and TOISA) from IF into A&L Direct ISA. The A&L account is open, but no funds are in it. The IF accounts are still open, with the money still in there.
The transfer forms were sent off almost three weeks ago....
Incidentally, did anyone else just put their plan number and ISA jar name on the transfer form? IF does not appear to give the savings jars an account number?!
Thanks in advanceGood, clean fun....MFW #11 2015 £7657 / £8880

Took quite a bit of time for my ISA to shift from IF to Abbey last year. About 6 weeks I think."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0
