There are many better paying regular savers out there such as Halifax 7% @ £250 per month .. depends on your circumstances.
I'm going in tommorrow to close the accounts down, rather have it in cahoot at least they know how to process an fing R85 form !0 -
Oh I don't want to put £250 a month in there. I want to do £1000 a month for at least a few years until I've drip fed most of my Nationwide e savings out which only pays 4.6%.0

For the extra 0.4%, it's not really worth it. Probably lose 0.4% waiting for the money to reach your Derbyshire Regular.(around 3 working days)0

Did you happen, by any chance, to find out whether 1 person can hold this additionally to the Regular Saver Bond?
(I could phone them to ask but the cost of that would wipe out an appreciable fraction of the extra interest I might be able to gain.)
°Sorry my posts so long - not time write shorter ones.0 -

I think this is unlikely to be a problem as I am allowed to have a 6.75% Regular Savings Bond and a 6% Regular Savings Bond at the same time.0 -
mary,
How did you open your regular bond saver with the principality BS. It says on the website open by visiting branch only. If you did this, did you have to make an appointment (nearest branch to me is in Chester).
