Firefox cookies not being saved

had this problem myself

to fix i deleted cookies.sqlite and cookies.txt

once deleted they will just make new ones so dont worry

i got this info from the mozilla forum

also in the above folder there is a file called signons.txt or signons1.txt i found that i had 3 different files saving passwords and usernames so i deleted these and just had to re enter passwords on sites once more but automatiacally saved them instead of me having to input the first letter of the username etc
