Regarding buying glasses:
I was looking at prescription eyeglasses online (not the boots site yet), and in the order section it asked if I want the lenses for general use/TV OR for reading/computer use. I use mine for the computer (don't need them for reading) AND to watch TV. The ones I've gotten in the past have always been "for computer use" but lately I need them to watch TV as well and hadn't realized there was a difference in the lenses. Does anyone know what the difference is?
Hi
I would guess that the ones for the tv would mean that you are short sighted although needing them for the computer would indicate long sight.
Our eyes change as we get older and I need them for the tv but not for reading. However I now also have problems reading small print and this often means that bifocals may be needed.
I apologise if you are under 40 but just know that this is often the case and I am nearing retirement myself.0 -

am on a split shift so have just nipped to boots to try to get the GWP on a clearance lipstick with the line lift 1/2 price voucher ( thinking that originally the lippy would have been £9.** and the line lift is £13.50 so above £20) - basically it doesnt take the original higher price of the lipstick into account so wont work:o never mind!!
Spotted the new NC GWP on a £5 spend, lovely satin make up bag in beautiful bright colours will try and find a pic
OK - dont know why but the GWP that is showing on .com is this one http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=47277&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 but that is NOT the one I saw in Central 12, it was more of a black and brightly coloured satin thing and was lovely so not sure which is the right one0 -

It is worth checking with your Optician, as the prescription which you require for Computer use may be different to the prescription needed for viewing the TV.
Some people require separate pairs for different functions, or use varifocals or bifocals (beyond a certain age) so that they don't need to keep swapping spectacles.

That looks really great, can't wait to get my hands on it:j The highlighter looks similar to Benefit's High Brow which is fantastic imo, but this is a lot cheaper:D:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
