I did my BOGOHP on the Gorgeous Feet Insoles 3 times, at 3 different tills, got 600 points and then treated myself (!) to some Piriton tablets, which then worked out free!

And I was given a "Hay Fever Kit" free as well - gosh, it just gets better and better this month Mr B!!
    xx

    Well done Sandra.:)
Where there is a will there is a way
and if there are points too, then its even better.

Hello, I just posted this in the hamper thread then remembered how kind a lot of you bootsers have been to Post Pal (www.postpals.co.uk) children in the past so thought I would post it here incase you can spare something you have picked up in Boots for Alice (or another child on the website)
    Thanks :)

hello, i know a lot of you pick little bargains up here and there and have a stash. I was wondering if any of you would be kind enough to consider doing one for a 13 year old girl who has spent the last 14 months fighting cancer. Her fight is about to get even more difficult and she will be really in need of something to cheer her up. Chemo wipes her out so she has very little energy to do very active things but she likes pampering things, animals, cotton bandaners (although i doubt they are in anyones stash but i guess you never know!) and basicly anything would cheer her up! She is allowed most things at the moment (no chocolate, sweets etc though as ontop of having hodgkins lymphoma she is also a type 1 diabetic) but when she has a transplant she will be very restricted (I'll post on her Post Pal page when thats the case, it wont be for a while yet). Her mum is going to send me the details of what ward she is on (In Alder Hey) so it can be sent direct to the ward as a lovely suprise.

I hope no one minds me asking, i just thought I would incase anyone can help. You can read about Alice here http://www.postpals.co.uk/pals/Alice+P

If anyone is hoping to get the Ped Egg for £6.95 as advertised in the Boots Mag you may be disappointed. Tried to get my local to honour this price when it scanned at £9.78 but SA went to check and came back and said typo in mag.
There are now signs on the display saying as such :o

Hi vicki L , thank you for pointing out this worthy cause and i will take the time to look into it , having 3 young children myself, just a little word of warning though. There is a charities thread and it may be better placed there as there have unfortunately been a number of problems with charity requests on this thread and this goes against MSE posting rules on this thread, sorry to have to point it out:o.
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)
  • Been away for a couple if weeks, but i think i managed to get around every single boots in Cornwall :)
The best clearance was in Padstow, if that's any help to anyone, L'oreal foundation for 99p that had been £14, flight socks for 49p and loads more.
Think I have lost my bootsing mojo as I have lost my ad card and the offers aren't that great atm.
