If you have an over 60s card, you also get 10% discount, and there is a coupon for 200 points (when you buy 2 x Gorgeous Feet Products) in the magazine (bottom left hand corner).
So, in Boots logic, instead of paying £1.99 a pair, you only pay 34p a pair!
This shows how thin on the ground the bargains are at the moment - I am getting excited about insoles!! :j
xx
I tried the 200pts coupon on Sunday when I bought 2 of the Gorgeous Feet Moisture Cream on BOGOHP & the till beeped. The SA read the conditions & said I couldn't use it, cos it states not to be used in conjuction with any other offer, so the BOGOHP was all I could get. Hopefully, if you get a nice SA, they might do it manually, but just be prepared!
Didn't have a great shop on Sunday, though, so it might just have been my Bootsing Mojo!! I took my friend (a Boots Virgin) to Meadowhall, which is her local store. We arrived just after opening time & the ACM machines were all playing up! Some just had the "Windows" screen, others wouldn't acknowledge the card had been entered. When we finally found a working one, no new vouchers for me & also none for BV (she does use Boots occasionally & I'd hoped she would have the No 7 and/or Highlights voucher to combine with my Glyco Peel - but no such luck!) Hardly anything on clearance & no FCUK minis or any other bargains to be had.
When we got to the tills, we went through the SS tills, as I wanted to show BV how to split them up & get the best bargains.
She did:
Shop 1
L'oreal Mascara £7.** & earned a Binnie
Shop 2
2 x Mouthwash
1 x Dental item (can't remember what) on 3-4-2 & earned a Binnie
Shop 3
L'oreal Facewash (used above Binnie)
Shop 4
Time Delay Lip Plumper (used above Binnie)
Saved about £16 overall
My shop
Shop 1
2 x Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo & Humidity Spray
1 x Charles Worthington Dream Hair spray
on 3-4-2 & used £2.00 voucher from mailing
1 x H&B mag (to get voucher for next shop)
But on completing my transaction, I pulled my ACM card out too soon & it did 2 things - crashed the machine & frazzled my card!! Had to get the SA, who couldn't mend the machine! Had to move to another machine, but they had to get my haircare voucher out first, so I could do it again! Had to scan everything through again & use my friends card to put the points onto!!
Gained a Binnie
Shop 2
2 x Gorgeous Feet Moisture Cream BOGOHP - had to get the same SA over again, as the voucher (as above) wouldn't go through & this crashed the 2nd machine!:o SA could reset it this time, thank goodness!
1 x Time Delay Lip Plumper (using Binnie)
Gained another Binnie
So now I've got to wait 14-21 days for another card. I have about £115 on it, so I can't spend any points at the mo! Hope there aren't any SUPER bargains to be had in the meantime!! I've got 8 Binnies to use before they expire & they seem to be breeding!
S xxEverything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -
Hi all just to let everyone know that a small store I visited today, I saw a sign up saying Boots Body Butters 2 for £10. Thing is, as im typing this, I cant remember if its on the Med or Extracts or the other one (is there a third?) or all of them. Went into a bigger Boots and there was no sign up, so not sure how new/old this is. Can anyone else shed any light ? HTHYour fooling no one bar yourself.0

What a great idea, i will give this a go, so come on girls lets ambush customer services with email defending our men!0 -

I used the Gorg. Feet 200 points voucher Sunday with foot scrub and deodorising foot lotion that were on clearance AND BOGOHP, and it scanned fine, no beeps. Paid around 3 quid and got 200 points back. It may just be certain products or certain stores that have a problem.0 -
Hi again also meant to say that when I went to the till at the photo counter, the SA took one look in my basket and said, "Oh you have a meal deal, sorry I cant put that thru here, you will have to take it back downstairs where they do the meal deals". I was like ??? can I take it to another till on this floor then. She says no it has to be one downstairs. First I have heard of that one. It was an SA I hadnt seen before, so im assuming shes new.Your fooling no one bar yourself.0

When I was in Boots today I overheard an SA showing an email to another SA, telling her to keep an eye out when putting meal deals through as there has been some problems with them going through at the right price.
This seems to follow on from what peeps on here have been saying about being overcharged for meal deals. So stay vigilant fellow bootsersnow has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -

I did my BOGOHP on the Gorgeous Feet Insoles 3 times, at 3 different tills, got 600 points and then treated myself (!) to some Piriton tablets, which then worked out free!
And I was given a "Hay Fever Kit" free as well - gosh, it just gets better and better this month Mr B!!

Saw a stand of reduced perfume today. The bargains I can remember are Ghost Serenity £11 and Burberry Brit eau de parfum £10 - I've already got some of this otherwise I would have snapped it up! There were plenty of celebrity perfumes as well. HTH0
