    Clearance

Clearance is up to 170 items!
    Going Fast!
Free Delivery into your local store!

When you get free delivery to store, does it come up as an option in checkout with the other post options. If so, it must not be available in my store.

You would think they would offer another store though, as i don't mond travelling.

Tried to use the clinique offer and 500 points WYS £50, but you can only use one promotion. So i used the 500 points one, and was gonna make a small order of just clinique to get delivered to store, but it was not available as an option

My boots account was still registered to my old address, but it came up 2 boxes, one to follow through for delivery to store, one to a specified address. I typed my post code in and up popped a list of say 20 stores, I clicked the one that I wanted, then it took me through to pay.

I did not bother changing my home address, so it seems delivery to store bares no relation to your home address, but to the post code you type in.

On the list there were ex alliance pharmacy stores and train station shops, so seems they are all doing it?

    Hope that helps?

It never gave me any option to type in etc, so it must based on the postcode already on the system, whether to then offer home delivery. Maybe i should change my postcode, and see what happens.:D

Does anyone know if Huddersfield or Leeds have home delivery?

I can't believe you get a free gift with each Olay Effects hand cream online. Ordered a few yesterday. Just as i went to pay, they disappeared from my basket after suffering a generic error. I was gonna leave it, but decided to remove the Olay and then put it back in my basket and voila - the free gifts re-appeared.

For the Cinique gwps and extra points

There is a thread with codes and vouchers here on MSE it will give you the 500 points wys £50 code.
Plus other codes for higher spends. I checked and it was there when I made my post.

To get 2 x 750 points you need to buy the cheaper clinique items x 3 twice,
they seem to range from £12.xx, but if you choose carefully ie: 2 each from different product ranges
you will end up with not 2 but 3 gwps for your troubles.
So its not a small spend but if you are a clinique user then
its a good way to get the 3 gwps and 2000 points back.

To get the olay gwp you can add some of the cheaper items,
so you do not need to spend the full £15. HTH Lupylou and anyone else wanting to place an order. :)

    Techspech,
I was having the same problems - it just seemed to default to my previously saved address.
Try this, it has seemed to work for me -
    go to checkout
on the right is your delivery address, click on 'edit address'
it should then give you an option to either change your address or add a store for delivery, search by postcode to find your nearest.
If you add your mobile number to your account details they will text you when it has arrived in store. hth

Also got 2 Botanics Gentle & Mild Baby essential boxes for £1.84 but Buy one get one half price. There were a few photo frames in the clearance section as well. hth.

    Hi

Sally06 explains it very well just here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=22779415&postcount=1997

    Hope this helps.

When you do this do you go to a normal till or ss one, and can you just take those particular items or do you hide them with other purchases.

I've done one on SS till with no other purchase - worked fine
On the manned till I took some other bits I needed anyway just as cover because the rapidly dropping total can confuse the SA's, and giving away a bag full of stuff for pennies seems to be very hard for them!
It does not seem to work in all stores. I've tried in 2 where it just does not work, even though I tried the exact same products as the store where it did work, one of those boots mysteries

When I did it I used an ordinary till but knew the SA quite well so it wasn't questioned. I did buy a few other things as I had R & M vouchers to get rid of as well. I did the expert glitch 3 times one after the other. I would buy other items if I were you just so that the small total isn't highlighted to the SA. I bought scalp lotions, dry scalp shampoo and conditioner and it worked well with all of these.

i always buy other small items when doing a glitch, if the sale drops to peanuts it could be game up for you and everyone else, i'm sure thats why the tills are packed with choc and tissues lol
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D
