I tried to use a couple of hairies against some reduced JB hairspray the other day and the till beeped:confused:

I also tried to use a 200points ACM voucher for photo albums and frames, against a mini calender reduced to 25p and the till beeped:rolleyes:the funny thing is, I used a 200points voucher on the same item with the last lot of 200points ACM vouchers and it scanned ok:confused:

I saw these calenders too for 25p and thought they would be BOGOF and 200points so got really excited!:j BUT turned out to be too good to be true....didn't work and SA had to tell me the voucher states photo frames and albums only..."this is a calender...blah blah blah"!
    :mad::mad::mad::rolleyes::rolleyes:

But did manage to get stay perfect lipstick for 30 points using save 200points mailing....on the way home realised new H&B mag has voucher for 100points on this....:mad::mad::rolleyes:...do you think it would have worked when paying with points?

And the expert glitch didnt work n 2 stores!!!:eek: Think they've caught on now...probably have to spend £5 for it to work!:eek:

p.s. if it still works in your area and you're sick of expert shampoo and conditioner e.t.c the expert eye make-up remover is quite good.

Will post my other shops later when have time

I tried to use my Expert Hair Loss voucher again today but till gave dreaded bleep again and my total spend was £6.30, does it only work if you but hair products?

Sarah-t you were lucky finding reduced things in West Byfleet I never find anything in that branch

Not Boots related, but today sainsburys they had Johnsons Baby Oil 300ml size reduced to 57p from £2 something. The aloe vera one with green top. I got 2 there were plenty left so may be useful to some of you Mums

Sorry have tried searching for the original post to see if its answered there but cant seem to find it.
Were these reduced sel or on the clearance stand?
With a 1 and 2 yr old I could really use some!!
    Thanks

These were on the SEL. Seems to only be in the small stores as went to Bluewater today and got nappies price checked there and still all full price.

Claire, in my local store the reductions were on the SEL's. This was yesterday in a small Boots, the bigger store still had them at full price.

Some packs also had 25% extra free too.

At the store where i got the reduced nappies, the SA said that the ones with free nappies weren't reduced although I can't confirm this as I didn't get them price checked.

  • hiya had mixed success today went to my little local and found some reduced nappies on sel but only size 2 and girls pulls ups as i have a boy whose in size 5 no good to me but plenty for other bargain hunters in my treorchy store ...then went down to pontypridd store and found the hair loss voucher ion the acm tried to use it but forgot to disguise it with other things and the total came to 23p the sa refused to let me pay this and just gave me the hair loss spray for free so i conveniently forgot my purse lol...i then went to talbot green store and found mens botanics shaving gel reduced to 25p and was also bogohp so picked up a few of those and the botanics baby lotion was reduced to 35p with the 100 pnts from the acm...i also tried to use the hair loss voucher here but the till beeped and sa cudnt figure it out so in the end i just left it
  • For those querying the hair loss spray glitch I have done this a few time with haircrae products with no beeps I only had to pay £1.86 for 3 items

Popped into Boots today to use up all my remaining coupons. Took an hour to find everything, then went to till.

But no advantage card - i had left it in the instore machine. After staff had checked if it had been handed in, they cancelled my card for me. This took 20 mins on the phone.

As soon as they came off the phone, a member of staff said, "oh, ive got it in my till". Another 20 mins was taken trying to uncancel it, but they refused.

At this point, i was told all my coupons could not be used without a valid card, so i left my shopping, apart from 2 free cans of pepsi raw, which i needed by this point.

I was gonna get the clinique offer, but the items were £2 dearer than online. So went to Olay for free GWP, but £15 spend required - not one item as online. Once again no Expert coupon offered on machine. And now i have no advantage card for a week or two, while a new one arrives.

I never was much cop at this bootsing lark :D
