Last time i visited this thread was because despite never visiting it, i found out people were talking about me on it for sharing your boots bargains with others on MSE. Shock horror - MSE user helps others.

The fact was that i had discovered a few glitches myself instore and shared them.

I did end up joining in the thread, but eventually i found a better way to save money, and i could not keep up with this thread.

Today i return, as i need a few more points to get some Alli, and instead of helping people with info, i find a cat fight.

Not much as changed whilst i have been away.
Hi Techspec, sorry for being O/T but how are you finding the alli? I have had to come off the Orlistat from GP (apparently twice the strength), they were really not good for me.

First attempt today tried to use Expert Hair Loss Spray voucher. I picked up 2 packs of hair removal cream [for arms not head] which were £4.20 each, buy one get one half price. So total spend £6.30. When s/a scanned voucher till gave the dreaded bleep. She read voucher and could not understand why it did not work as total spend over £5 and came to the conclusion that I had picked up the wrong Hair Loss Spray as it came up as £6.65 and not £9.99 as stated on voucher. Obviously I knew I hadn't so left as long queue forming. Are there only certain items it works with as I know some of you have bought shampoo. I really do not need anymore shampoo. Do not need Hair Loss Spray myself but friend who will be able to use it.

Have got a few hairies that will be going in bin if I cannot find any reductions. Have not seen any bargains like some of you do. Hope next voucher is No. 7

Not got it yet, i'm about 300 points short to buy them on my card, so thought i would see if there were any good old fashion glitches on here,so i can get a bargain at the same time as building up my points.

Ive spent an hour going through this thread so far, and all ive got is an headache.

Ive heard as long as you stick to a low fat diet, side affects are minimal. As soon as i get some, i will be starting to cut down. I Need to lose about 3 stone, so want to try everything possible at the same time to give me a realistic chance. I'm even thinking of getting my meals dlivered from diet shef so i don't mess up with the diet.

Just be careful, thay made my hair fall out (not hugely, but enough to be concerned about) and my hair on my legs stopped growing. Make sure you take a multivitamin at night too as the tablets stop you absorbing vitamins from food properly. Good luck with them though x

evening broclo, not seen you round much lately - you seem to have become a night owl, bet thats the kids for ya!

Have you not been to boots much lately? you've not posted much about any trips and oodles of coups :) clothes have been good value though

Become? No I do not get a lot of sleep, don't need it, I'm as fresh as a daisy in the morning. In fact, too much sleep and i'm groggy. Sleep when i'm dead and all that (oooo just got a lovely jon bon jovi visual there-yum!).

    I posted last week... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=22932879&postcount=2217

Only do if a major saving spree. No point posting shops that are the same things others are getting. But I shared that one as my final total for the day was rather fun as it was about a 10% spend lol

Although I have a killer trip planned for tomorrow...the joys of Self Serve tills...bless the saint that decided to install them

I'd better read up on them first. I'm only getting one bottle to start me off, as i think diet and excercise are my main problems.

    Hi Techspec :hello:

If you have a BMI of over 28 then ask your doctor for orlistat which is double the strength of alli. Will save a fortune and of course the GP can offer you much more advice on the issues when taking them and the need to suppement etc...without digging into your boots points :)

i have the same problem techspec, am a great big fat elephant as I hate exercise and love all the wrong types of food.

do you have any 100 points vouchers? especially for men's stuff, some stores were reducing a lot of men's stuff and if you had the 100 points vouchers, they were a nice boost to your AC.

BBB was it you that had a son or cousin who went to the University of Leicester?? A friend of mine is thinking of going there and I wondered what it was like.
