Was pleased to find some ROC items reduced today - but didn't realise the binnie is more restrictvie than the last skincare voucher we had. There were some cleanser pads reduced to £3.50 which I had bought using the last voucher but this time the till beeped becaused the voucher is only for Retin-Ox, Retin-Ox Multi Correction and Complete lift. Roc is a fairly expensive product and these parts of the range are at the top end....just too much money for me even with £5 off:rolleyes:

I know I used up the last of my vouchers last time on the face wipes but these aren't included this time, like the Time Delay wipes and the Olay handcream..... no wonder there are so many vouchers being binned! I think we all have a backlog of Olay face wash now:rotfl:it's a nice product for 86p but there's only so many times a day a girl can wash her face:D

this is off topic but do somerfield do meal deals like boots and if so how much? would really help :)
and what are the best things to get in the meal deal from boots(as in biggest saving?)

    :)

Like others have said, don't go for the biggest savings, as to be honest, some of their sandwiches are carp! Got some of those Taste Of India sandwiches that had lentils in them along with tamarind, and I have never had anything as bad as this in my life. Whole sandwich went in the bin, so a waste of money. Go for something you like. Good thing to get at the moment is the BIG BAG OF MALTESERS (125g I think). Huge kerfuffle at the tills with 3 SA's wowing me saying WOW AIN'T YOU CLEVER! cos I had a big bag of Maltesers in my meal deal. Thanks to the original poster re: this! Also, always go for drinks that are on BOGOF cos you end up with 2 instead of 1.

Anyway, saw some VASELINE INTENSIVE RESCUE items with reduced SEL'S. Think there was a Body Butter amongst other things. It says good for very dry skin! HTH.

All the S+G reduced items have been cleaned out in Batley and Dewsbury, so don't bother going there if you are on the hunt.

Can anyone confirm that my ideas about ordering in store are correct?

I am under the impression that if I go to the photo counter and order CK Euphoria to be delivered in store I can pay with points.
I only ask because atm on boots.com there are two really nice gwp wyb CK and I'd like to get them both. :o

Also do you still get free delivery when paying in points?
    TIA

I was in Edinburgh at the weekend. The Boots at Waverley train station has some of the sanctuary mini travel sets reduced to £1.72 (? i think give or take a few pence). There were 3 on the shelf, I didn't take any as I managed to get some in Sheffield. Hope it helps someone.

has anybody bought a graco mosaic travel system ? are they any good ?
they are on promotion in boots so was wondering if it is a good buy ...

thanks for your help in advance !
  • Hi, this is my first time on MSE so bear with me! I bought the Mothercare Trenton Deluxe travel system which is exactly the same as the Graco (made by same company just badged with a different brand). So far my 8 week old has been really happy in it. The removeable pramette is really handy and very comforatble. However, the major drawback is the weight and size. It weighs a tonne! Even when it is folded it is still big and takes up alot of room. The car seat is also extremely heavy even before you put the baby in it. Having said that the weight does make it easy push and the swiveling front wheels give it a nippy feel. To sum up it's a great system if you've got a big boot and even bigger muscles! Hope this helps.

Sorry that the vouchers beeped on your minimode sale items. Don't know why that happened as I have used the 'Baby & you' 20% voucher a few times on sale items.

Just to say, if you have an SA who won't even try the voucher on sale items, you could always add something cheap from the full-price collection (like tights or socks / undies). If you explain you have something at full-price to SA, they should be prepared to take it and, if you've got a lot of sale items, you should still make a saving (as long as the voucher works that is!!!!)

thank you i tried this today - store in town had NOTHING but i got one baby reduced outfit and an older girls swimsuit for nieces xmas pressie (im doing her travel pack as shes going on holiday for xmas). Anyhow both vouchers went through fine this way and no queries but i had done this just incase there was a problem. real pity there was nothing else in the store i needed that was reduced. other store has TONS of stuf but wont take the vouchers :(

The ACM 200 points wyb any Photo Album or Frame works with items like
the mini print your own Photo Calendar for £1 and some of the mini Photo Books for £1.46.
Might be an idea for those looking for Brag Books too.
I think they are around £2.89 and come in pink, blue and lilac.
Handy to keep your ACM and money saving vouchers in plus 200 points back.
