ive been overcharged about 3 times when i've bought food from boots. really annyoing.

althought is not much money it makes me so mad especially when the reciept shows ive been overcharged but the sa is not listening:mad:

Just popped into my boots and epliators on offer 1/3 off soem of them. Haven't tried one before and didn't want to waste money on something i might not use however found a Phillips one reduced to £25.99 (£13 saving) and managed to get with my points without making too much of a dint in them.

Jus tried it though, its hurts but its good, money well spent!

Fuji finepix camera reduced from £179.99 to £59.** then I had 300 points from ACM WYS £35 and 200 WYS £20 from mailing

Southport, Easter Roary watering can filled with eggs 50p, little mini eggs with cuddly toy on top 20p, 2x gorgeous feet reduced to 99p then BOGOHP and 200 points from mag, Margaret Dabbs foot oil £2:eek: BOGOHP:D so got 2 of those ( they were the only ones left though|!)

Central 12, 2 x baby photo albums £2.5o each then BOGOF and 200 points from ACM ( had to manually be added though???) gorgeous foot gel pads 49p then BOGOHP and 200 points from mag:D

I had a bizarre shopping experience today!! just to let you know out of town Ashford store has large salection of mini mode sale stuff - more than in last few weeks and cute xmas socks for a £1 etc etc etc. lots of photo frames and album bargains. But after today I do not recommend buying from them EVER:eek:

So today I went to the till with all my bargains to pay. To start off with they only had teeny bags so SA gave us things and partner put them straight into my handbag for me. All the mini mode clothes I was being passed to just carry out.

Anyway what I tried to buy was as follows:
£16 mini mode clothes
mini Mediterranean body scrubs x 2 @ 49p
2 photo frames for £2.43 BOGOF and 200 points (same frames are full price in town centre store)
Mens L'Oreal Wash @ 3(had £5 voucher to cover this)
something small partner had picked up.

So everything went through then I handed over the vouchers - minimode from baby mag 20% off full price, minimode voucher from boots magazine 15% off when spending £15 or more, £5 voucher off of L'oreal, Olay etc and 200 points when buying two photo frames.

So EVERY voucher beeped and didnt work. SA got the points once to go through and then called over a colleague (they are useless in this store btw as i have problems everytime i go there :rolleyes:). I was told that the L'oreal she would ring through even though I had a mens product - they had a lable below it in store implying it was one of them and is called wrinkle decrease. then she told me I couldnt use EITHER of the mini mode vouchers :eek::eek::eek::eek:So I said I would leave the clothes which were in my hands at the time and passed them back over.
(If someone can tell me where near me I can use these vouchers that would be fantastic as Im trying to get xmas pressies early. Do I need to go to somewhere with self serve tills??????? )

So I expected the clothes to be taken off of sale. Instead in a few seconds (I didnt realise till I walked out what had happened) she voided the whole sale. I got the mini mode vouchers back but not the 200points off photoframes. Then she rang through the L'oreal voucher handed me the mens scrub and said I owed nothing :eek: and gave me till receipt.

In reality as they didnt have bags and asked us to put things in our own bag inside my handbag was thing partner had picked up, two photoframes, two mini mediterrean scrubs and free mens L'oreal in my hands. So we got all of that for free - recipet just said L'oreal voucher used for L'oreal purchase as all other items were voided off.

So anyway today my buys in Boots were free - now this would never happen when I was actually buying something expensive :rotfl:I still think its bizarre as have no idea what they were doing or why and i didnt even get my 200point voucher back!!

I am also still really annoyed as I had picked up enough clothes for two xmas presents and I had to leave them all as got told I couldnt use either of the vouchers on sale items. I know others in here have mentioned they have managed to so id like some tips on what i need to do please - im going to try town centre branch tomorrow even though last week they didnt have any of the clothes i actually needed.

I've had this, it's because of the extra deal, 2 for 80p. It's just the way the reciept reads. If you work out the maths of it you're not being over charged, its just a bit of crazy boots till receipting. If I can find my receipt i'll try to explain it.

Now I'm not sure I understand why they write it like this but a meal deal is 2.99 plus the other galaxy at 40 os 3.39 and thats what I paid. Just a very confusing way of putting it on the receipt

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but in the new mag there is a coupon on Page 85 for 200 ad card points when you buy 200 photos at boots 24-hour service. Boots pics might be so costly that it's not worth it, but this may work with other vouchers people may have. Plus it doesn't expire until 30/06 and another voucher that works with it may materialize.

Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience using the vouchers, I have used the 20% off voucher from the baby mag in that store, Maidstone, Bluewater and Canterbury Wincheap (did it before the new h&b mag came out so have not tried with that one aswell) and all went through o.k. Maybe it just depends on the SA you get?
