Guys, this is my first time on this forum, but i have been driven to register and post here by some of the views expressed!

Just to clarify I am a Store Manager at a Domino's Pizza franchise in the Midlands and am in no way representing the views of Domino's Pizza UK and Ireland Ltd - I am just very passionate about what I do for a living - particularly customer service!

Now - hopefully I can clear up a few misconceptions.

Firstly it is important for customers to realise that Domino's Pizza operartes a franchise system so stores in a similar area won't necessarily be owned by the same Business/person. A consequence of this is that deals will vary from store to store - including the online deals which are set by the franchisee. This might explain why certain codes don't work for some but do for others. Most online meal deals will be exactly what the name implies - online only! Whether these deals are available to order over the phone will also be at the discretion of the franchisee - in my store, unfortunatley they are not.

Also online transactions are controlled by our IT Helpdesk at Milton Keynes. Our instore staff whilst trained to be as helpful and polite as possible in all situations are generally not able to help with online order problems. These queries should be directed to the helpdesk directly on 08448845555 - Choose option 3 for customer enquiries.

Domino's do occassionally organise national deals wich are heavily publised in the press/media and are for limited time only.

Most Domino's franchises will offer value for money deals every day of the year, so there is little need to pay full menu price if you are flexible to what is on offer on any given day! There are 2 ways to order and the deals vary.

    1) Order online using a valid UK postcode. You'll need to be in one of our predetermined delivery areas to use the online service. There is a meal deals tab which will show you whats on offer. You can then taylor your pizza and checkout choosing a method of payment and delivery time.

    2) Instore/over the phone at your local store. Grab a menu - all the deals are on the right hand side of the menu once opened - same layout for every store in the UK! Just as a side note there is generally always one online discount option at the top of the menu on the right. This is the code you need for your locality! Although we don't necessarily force deals down peoples throats, my staff will always offer a different option or deal if it is cheaper or provides more food for a similar price! I would hope that all franchises will train there staff in a similar practice.

As a final note I would agree with a previous post that a genuine understanding customer will be more likley to get my generous side than a ranting angry so and so. I am after all only human!

I hope this seems like a helpful explanation of the situation from our side an not just the rantings of a lunatic! :)

Does anybody actually read the emails sent in to Dominos ?
I complained about the lack of "advertised" Chicken Strippers - last time that I placed an on-line order, some 2 months ago - and as yet, no response from Dominos.......
I don't think that Dominos has done itself any favours by ignoring me - I am unlikely to use them again.
  • Depends who and where you emailed. If you have no joy through this route then Domino's has an offical UK facebook page whichis checked regularly. You could try posting about your concern on there wwhich may get a better response!

    HTH!

    YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER
  • Used the code for the £10 reduction and it came up as an invalid code. Noticed in the description that it said that it was participating stores only. Shame there isn't a list of the participating stores on Dominos website :(:(:(:(:(

This is WRONG! You should be able to order both toffee AND chocolate dips at extra cost as the store will stock them both for the belgian wafflle dessert.

The decision to drop dips from the cookies after the initial campaignwas a strange decision i agree, but it was taken by head office before they launched the cookies product. I have dealt with no end of complaints about this exact topic but my hands are tied. The best i have managed is a one off freebie of dips with cookies on the understanding that the customer has to order them and pay next time. It never goes down well!
