SIM for texting india?
Can anyone help me out? I have a phone and am looking for a SIM to use primarily for PAYG texting India (plus very few UK texts/calls). None of the call-checkers seem to help me out because they are based on UK texting and the prices seem to be significantly higher for texting abroad. Does anyone have advice/experience in this area?

Check out the o2 website - their payg sim with a international bolt on gives a very good price for texting abroad.0

Gives you 300 UK text / 100 X Net minutes or a combo
and your texting price will be 10p / text to India

One can send sms free from yahoo messanger as well as from rediff.com for 1rs /sms.Another way is to send one o2 or orange sim to india and send the text from here at UK rates.Roaming is free as long as you don't use it and receving sms is free while on roaming.But you have to top up £ 10 after every 6 months.0
