I'm now due an upgrade, and I have been given a choice of three phone's,
Nokia 6500 classic
Nokia6300 classic
Samsung C6625

now I'm not really a gadget person and just like the phone to make calls and send text's but I admit I don't know what to choose,I would usually go for another Nokia never had a problem with them find them easy to use.
Having said that this time I'm really tempted by the Samsung but it has a few gadgets on it and I'm not to sure if I would get on with it,
so my question is what would you recomend / choose
TIA

What network are you with and how much are you paying? and will you be signing up for another 12 months/18 months? Were they the only phones offered or did you have a special request of what you wanted?

I would rule out the nokia 6500 as it doesnt hold reception as well as other phones, the others i have no knowledge of.

It's on BT buisness 2 year contract 700 texts and 1000 mins free about £60 per month for 2 phones
The Samsung was only released in March I think

this is the Nokia 6300 classic

but reviews have said it has a poor battery life and thats one of the things putting me off that one
    this is the 6500 classic

and is quiet similar to what I have already connection has never really been a problem .
I hadn't thought about asking what's on offer as my hubby deals with them but he is going to ask them today when he speaks to them about any other phone's.

If those are your only choices then i would choose the samsung as i have the tocco ultra and love it over the nokias that ive had;) I would also have a look at other business sites like 02 see if they can offer maybe a better deal its room for haggleing with BT;)

I've now been offered a choice of 3 further phones

    Blackberry 8900

    Blackberry Pearl 8120
    and a
Nokia 6600 but I'm definately not choosing this one as it's a slide phone and I have arthritis in my hands and can't slide them

The blackberry isn't a basic phone/text option, maybe the samsung would have been better for you.

I agree that the Blackberry 8900 is better than the Samsung C6625. Better 512 MHz processor, camera and well tested as a phone.
But the Samsung seems much more basic.

To be honest it all depends on what you like. The Blackberry and Nokias are well tested and reviewed but the Samsung is not so well reviewed
