That's fine by me, cos I'm developing em........ a v windy tum & the longer it takes before I can submit report the worse the report will be on the large cheap pub I had my lunch in :rolleyes:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

My OH emailed them and they just set the test to 'passed' for him, but then he had passed all the other test with them and done jobs with them a while, and he had previously passed that client test when he lived in Ireland and worked for them there, but we were quite glad they just changed it no questions asked. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Sounds uncharacteristically nice of them. Maybe your OH got somebody new who hasn't picked up the office culture yet? :rotfl:Dan

I don't see any underground sandwich jobs with RE.
I do the French one but would not have though that would have precluded me from the other.
I would be grateful for any ideas.

They don't put anywhere that you can't do the same place again, but you just don't see the job again until you're allowed to do it.0 -
Ok, I've heard it all now..... GAP phoned just now to beg me to do a chicken job. Poor bloke, I thought he was going to cry
.
Him "I need you to do a really urgent visit for me to *chicken place*"
Me "Oh, I don't know...."
Him "We will pay you a really good premium if you do it"
Me "Where is it & when do you want it doing?"
Him "It needs doing tomorrow"
Me " ok, where?"
Wait for it........... County Down :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I asked him if they were going to pay for my flights and hotel as well as a huge premium for doing it..... Poor bloke thought I'd lost the plot. (Well, you've got to try). I told him twice that I was on mainland UK in Shropshire & County Down was a few hundred miles away in Northern Ireland but he just couldn't work it out
and sounded so puzzled. For some reason they didn't want to pay the expenses - shame really, I'd have done it for that . Obviously I didn't get sacked for blowing a job out today
