duchy bet me to the answer on this one. It has been discussed before on here and although some people have done it and seemed to get away with it probably best not to risk it.
If you are worried about me I may have inflated the number of headphones I have in my kitchen drawer but honestly there isn't much in these shops for less than a tenner and you can look a bit daft searching for something. Batteries are always a good option too.
Thanks for your responses, you lot are always so helpful and a mind of knowledge! looks like its headphones for me.

I did a phone shop for Gap and it was quite a negative one as the service was terrible. They emailed me on Friday and asked for more details, but didn't specify what they wanted to know. However, they did point out that if I didn't reply within 24 hours the job would be re-allocated and I wouldn't be paid!
I have replied twice now asking them to tell me what they want to know, as their request is very unclear (and also it was my 1st shop with them), and I still haven't had a reply. Can I ask for suggestions on what I should do please?0 -

That way they'd have to tell you what detail they want explaining.0 -

PP, there must be a problem then. I added a postcode for the city as a test a couple of weeks ago, and I started seeing jobs within a few days. All Central London mind you, but jobs nonetheless0 -

I'd email them back with a full account of your shop - as many details as you can think of. I had Gap email me about one of my assignments but they specified the timings - I think they just wanted to check the details to make sure I hadn't entered a random number! As soon as they saw the details were the same, everything seemed fine (I even gave them the milliseconds, just to be pedantic!).
It might be a case that the client wants to make sure they know exactly what happened in case a member of staff questions it and denies they behaved in the way they're being accused of.
You're probably right to ask what to provide details for, but they may not get back to you soon. If you're really worried, write a report in detail of your experience, but if not - just wait for an email response. As you've initially responded within 24 hours, I don't think they can release the job from you.
Although, it is Gap! So you never know!TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

I see so many alerts for jobs for these guys I am soooo jealous. Ive tried putting in all my friends postcodes too but no joy! Am I right in saying though that once someone is accepted they can add other postcodes too ?0 -
