I've made a big mistake with a MS assignment. I've somehow either not took or lost the reciept. I was considering going back and buying something else; this is especially difficult because the shop is 10 miles away (was in the area earlier) and I don't really want to travel back. On completing the form it doesn't ask me for a transaction number, only a time.

Should I take the risk and invent a rough time or should I go back and buy something else? I want to be considered reliable but on the other hand I don't want to be caught out and make myself look like I'm filling these things in without even going.

you can ask if they can give you a duplicate receipt as many good shops wud do that.. if the visit was not long back. you could actually just put it the time a few minutes before you left the store if they do not want to see the receipt physically...

Which MS company was it for? Some of them are pretty relaxed about receipts, but some require a scanned receipt for all jobs.

Its showing loads of new ones now for me that it is back up, shame they are none I can do but jumped from 29 before the crash to 42 after so perhaps you should log out and back in ... worth a try.

I still only have 10 so I think I am now going to give up checking :(

It's Grassroots. They've never asked for a copy of my reciept before but it doesn't say on the assignment that if I don't keep it then I won't be paid.

if you just need times rather than receipt do you not have them on the notes you did? I always note down time before i go in and when i leave no matter what the job entails.

I wouldn't worry about it then. I've never been asked for a receipt from GR either, so fingers crossed you should be OK. It is very unlikely that they will ask for the receipt.

Yes, it's just that they ask for an exact time where on my notes I only have an approx. time. I suppose they might search their records to check for a transaction of that amount at that time.

enjoy a free meal at sandwich and greasy burger on us!

Has anyone just had an email from GAP with this title?

Am I the only one who gets a little irritated by being told that I get a "free" burger for doing one of their jobs?!

    IT'S NOT FREE!!! ARRGGHHHH!!

I'd tell them myself but they wouldn't get it!
