I'm interested in how you think us mentioning it on here will make it more likely for our post to go missing? We are not giving out our addresses, so how would potential thieves know to rob us.
the fact that this thread is read by millions "increase your income fans"!

im thinking so too as not much appeared. going to keep coming back and checking every hour.... i bet they appear when apprentice is on so im going to convince partner to watch it from skyplus a few minutes late so i can go and check! :rotfl:

as for spanish restaurants i wanted to know if anyone else has managed to do one and be allowed to change one item on the requested list? I am vegetarian so cannot eat one of the prerequisites of this wave so wanted to know if anyone knows if id be able to change just the 1 item. everything else would be fine. i have emailed them but no response...
They're not known for their flexibility on these kind of things. I'm veggy too, but would take my OH with me, and ask him to try this item. I think you could probably get away with ordering it, then just inspecting / cutting it up rather than actually eating it.

Sorry still can't see how they would know my address? It definitely seems a bit risky in general, but can't see how mentioning it on here makes it likely that we will be robbed. Anyhow lets hope they will switch to a more sensible method soon as has been suggested. I find the cash tends to just slip through my fingers and doesn't feel like 'real' income, so would prefer it too.

im sure all posties are aware that theres potentially money in some envelopes at some points but if they all stole it we would not have a postal service. i am finding this a strange point of view ..... plus IF we suddenly all didnt recived payments one month company would have to resend and cost them £1000s so they might look into using a secure payment system sooner which is better for everyone.

i know this is why last week i posted something about me finding it bizarre a company would use this security lacking method. but on the other hand who on earth would know whose post to check when the envelopes are plain, they dont know our addresses and as we all know too full well they wont have a clue when payment is likely to be arriving as we dont ourselves!

Google search ABAi Goole search ofiice location and you'll know what "company" stamp you'll find on the envelope.
The people that like to get money the easy way are rather clever (most of the time anyway).

I had a check (with a hologram) envelope opened and resealed. It was no use to them as it had my name and address.

LOL right fair enough. Best to give this one a miss for now then. It's a shame cos I quite like eating in the Spanish restaurants as they have some lovely veggy dishes. Their mushroom fritters (not called that but similar) are yummy.

my envelopes have no company stamp used on them. if the company wanted to be that stupid i would have thought money would have started going missing years ago and they would have changed their payment method before i even started work for them. sooner I get paid by BACS the better as then I know exactly whats going on and I have a record of everything for my books. To state I have been paid in cash sounds rather dubious if you ask me...

They might be the ones who will pay the price later but that doesn't mean that I don't care.

Doesn't it have a St Alban's Stamp with the company's name just visible from the address window?
