Does anyone know if there are time restrictions on clothes shops on abai ?? Am thinking of booking one but don't know if I have to go before 5pm or if I can go in the evening after work. Don't want to book it and then cancel

Whey can't these companies give plenty of details before you book the visit ?

I agree - I've had to cancel a couple of Abai jobs in the past because of this - if they had printed the visit times in the notes before you accept the job, then I would never have taken them in the first place.

On a separate note, does anyone else feel the GfK phonecalls have a particularly poor fee? I've done quite a few calls for GfK in the past and the fee was always a bit more than they are offering now. Plus, a lot of these need to be recorded which I always have problems with, so all in all, it's just not worth the stress for the pitiful fee. In fact, there is one showing now, which doesn't need to be recorded, and I do have an account so I could do it, but I don't think it's worth it for the fee. Anyone agree or am I all on my own here in loserville?

I don't like doing phone calls at all, I find them more stressful than in person mystery shopping, but can see that for lots of people they would be more convenient, as there is no travel costs and time. I tried an RE travel one, and thought it was not worth the fee, it took ages, and on a number that is not free on my phone (no BT line), and then took ages again to listen back and do the report.

I have done some bank calls for GR last year, which were a better fee (slightly more than the current GFK ones), and they were fine, no recording and a straightforward enquiry. Only occasionally a pain if they never answered the phone.

I looked at the GFK ones. I thought the fee was OK for the enquiry, I guess it depends on how long it takes, and how pushy the claims company is going to be in trying to get you to go through with it. I've not got any loans, so couldn't do these.

They are to ring claims companies about reclaiming PPI on loans, I've had various different companies offered to me in the last 24 hours. They have been putting random postcodes on them to get them to appear in people's lists, so hopefully you should see one soon. Keep checking.

I think it depends on the scenario. I've done a couple this week, both didn't have to be recorded, very straightforward queries, freephone numbers, and the questionnaires were very easy and quick (provided the call went well). So all in all, I was happy as they just took a few minutes and minimum effort, but I can see how the ones needing recording can be trickier and I wouldn't touch them. :)

These aren't loan ones - they are just enquiries but you have to have an account with the place already. I have ignored most of them because I really HATE recorded calls - I did a couple and had endless problems so now I won't do recorded ones at all.

I know the fee for these is probably not that bad, but it looks really low compared to what they usually pay - regardless of how quick the query is. Plus, I get charged extra for 0845 numbers, so that's another expense to factor in. Just not worth it to me.

Usually they're during work hours only (11-3 during the week)

Which clothes shop? The discount one usually has to be done between 11-3, if that helps?

I can't see any clothing shops on ABAi at the moment though

But you're right, it would make life a bit easier if they put time restrictions on the visit page.
